International Shipping

Currently, Mercer&Sons offers USPS First-Class International and USPS Priority International for all overseas shipping. USPS First Class International delivery times are indefinite which makes this option the least costly. Priority is more efficient however, as of January 28, 2024, the postal rates have increased significantly. Weight and distance/locale determine price.

Mercer&Sons will not refund charges on overseas orders until the host country returns a lost or “undeliverable” parcel. Once a parcel leaves the USA, we are unable to pursue delivery in a foreign country and it becomes the customer’s responsibility. A USPS Priority tracking number is supplied to all international customers which indicates when the order has left the USA.

We want to ensure transparency regarding VAT (value-added taxes). As an international customer, you are responsible for any value-added taxes imposed by your home country. These charges are not included in your order total.

At times, foreign customs will delay parcels for postal delivery. If your order is unduly late, check with your local Customs office to inquire about a processing delay on their end. Often, these delays are related to VAT payments.
